  Working Procedure

To guarantee the translation quality, BlueVoyage have a strict working procedure in place with the following quality control points:
1) Translator Selection: BlueVoyage can choose the translator best qualified for your project, and the client can specify and check the qualification of the translator we recommend;
2) Terminology Extract: Before the actual translation, we extract and translate the technical terms to maintain consistency in writing style and terminology usage. This is especially important when a project involves more than one translator.
3) Quality Control: When a translation is finished by the translator, it is passed to a proofreader. The proofreader first reads the translation to make sure that it reads well in the target language, and then compares the translation with the source text to check for missing segments and other errors.
4) DTP & Print Check: Once the translation copy is ready, it is typeset according to client requirements. During this stage, it is also given a final check to verify proper page layout, correct headers/footers, numbering and page numbering.
5) Knowledge Management: Whenever clients make complaints about errors in translation, we will compile the error into files. In future similar projects we will provide the files to translators so that similar errors would not happen again.
